What is meant by registration fees?
What the authority charges to enter an aircraft on the register, usually a schedule by weight. Keeping it there afterward is a separate, recurring charge.
Why does registration fees matter when choosing a register?
Fees are a predictable recurring cost and are easy to compare directly, provided the full schedule is read rather than a single headline line.
